Body Painting Shoot
27-08-2009
I studied body painting alongside make-up but hadn't used it much since leaving college so I decided it was time to get some proper portfolio pictures together. I asked one of my favourite photographers Alan Miller if we could set up the shoot.
I enlisted the help of my friend and fellow make-up artist Hayleigh Kingston on the day of the shoot. I couldn't have picked a better team for this. The whole day was such good fun. I wanted the theme to be a leopardess hunting her prey! Deadly Nightshade the model who was my 'hunter' was so laid back and had a wicked sense of humour, she had me in hysterics all day. Alan Miller recommended a great model for the Zebra, Ryan Spittlehouse who paintently endured three coats of white boady paint!
Even though day was so laid back and fun we got some amazing images. Thank you Alan, Hayleigh, Ryan, Rachel and Mark! I'm so pleased!!
